EPU Engineering LLC (“EPU Engineering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website at epuengineering.com (the “Site”).

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you:

• Submit a contact form on this Site
• Send us an email via contactus@epuengineering.com
• Request information about RWTS™ or our products

This may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Company/organization name
• Job title or role
• Project-related information you choose to share

Please do not send confidential information through this Site. Contact forms and email are not confidential channels. Anything you send us without a signed agreement in place, including ideas and specification proposals, is handled under Terms of Use section 3.6. Confidential exchanges happen only under a written agreement signed in advance.

When you submit a contact form, we also record the following alongside your message, to help us identify and investigate abuse of the form:

• The IP address the submission came from
• Your browser's user-agent string
• The date and time of submission

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We do not run any analytics or tracking software on this Site. The only information collected automatically is:

• Web server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access logs — IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, and user-agent string. These are generated by the web server itself and are used for security and troubleshooting.
• A session cookie. If you open a contact form, a single cookie (PHPSESSID) is set. It is strictly necessary: it carries the security token that protects the form against cross-site request forgery, and the answer to the form's math question. It contains no personal information, is not used for tracking, and expires when you close your browser.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not use any analytics platform — no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no alternative
• We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party cookies of any kind
• We do not embed third-party scripts, pixels, fonts, or social widgets
• We do not collect payment information through this Site
• We do not track you across other websites
• We do not build profiles or measure individual visitor behavior

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries about RWTS, our products, or consulting services
• Provide information or documentation you request
• Tell you when RWTS releases, if you asked to join the waitlist
• Contact you about future work if you sent a résumé or a teaming inquiry
• Keep the Site secure and troubleshoot problems, using server logs
• Comply with legal obligations

We do NOT:

• Sell your information to third parties
• Share your information with advertising networks
• Use your information for automated marketing
• Create advertising profiles

4. Analytics

We do not use analytics. This Site carries no analytics platform, no tracking scripts, and no third-party JavaScript of any kind. Nothing on these pages reports your visit to us or to anyone else.

The practical consequence is that we cannot see which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, or where you went next. Our only visibility into traffic is the standard web server log described in section 2.2.

5. Data Retention

• Contact form submissions: Stored on our web server and retained for 3 years after last contact, then deleted
• Email correspondence: Retained for the duration of our business relationship plus 3 years
• Inquiry records: Retained for 3 years after last contact
• Résumés and teaming inquiries: Kept for up to 12 months, however they arrive, then deleted; deleted sooner on request
• Web server logs: Retained by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all Site traffic, enforced by HTTP Strict Transport Security
• A Content Security Policy that blocks third-party scripts, and no third-party resources on any page
• Contact form submissions written to a directory that is not reachable from the web, restricted to the site owner's account, and blocked at the server level
• Form submissions sent over authenticated SMTP with TLS
• Cross-site request forgery protection and rate limiting on all forms
• Access controls limiting who can view inquiry data
• Regular security reviews

Contact form submissions are retained on the web server so that a mail delivery failure never loses your message. They are stored as plain text, readable only by the site owner, and pruned on the schedule in section 5.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your personal information
• Object to certain processing activities
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Our Site is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
